We survived our first day of school! We only had a few tears and mostly happy smiles. Today we spent most of our day learning about school and learning our new routine and rules.

Take a peak at how we spent our day:

AM Class First Day of School~

We also had a visit from Mr Barry Dana who was a Penebscot Native. He shared some folk tales and allowed us to see some Native things.

We learned about ladybugs before vacation. We made ladybugs in an art project. We also made lady bugs for snack. Our ladybug snack included rice cakes, strawberry jam, and raisins.

Family Fun Day January

Enjoy our photos of our Family Fun Day. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We will be having another family fun day in the Spring.

The Mitten Activity: We read The Mitten Book by Jan Brett. We colored animals and laced the mitten. We then cut out the animals and retold the story. Hopefully they were able to retell the story at home.

Pumpkins

In October we had lots of fun with pumpkins. Each student carved and brought home their own pumpkin.

Family Fun Days are an important part of the 4 Year Old Program. We offer Family Fun Days as a way for students and parents to come together to participate in activities we provide. We had our first Family Fun Day in October and we will have another one in January.
